Super Star K4’s Volume recently drew attention with their eerie performance
On the episode of Mnet’s Super Star K4 that aired on October 12, the top 12 contenders made a live performance.
The top twelve were given a mission of a performance themed “First Love.”
Volume, the third contender of the day, chose “Now,” originally done by Fin.K.L. and seemed resolved, saying, “We’ll blow off all.”
On the live performance, the group gave an impressive performance with a strong beat and a scary concept. The all-black outfits and dark makeup made the performance even spookier.
The judges, however, gave them flak. Lee Sueng Chul said, “You failed choosing the right song for you. And you seemed to show you too many things at a time.” Psy also gave criticism, saying, “It could have been better. I like the beginning and ending of the performance, I don’t understand what the rest of the gig was meant to be.”
