Gil Ro expresses his feelings for Seo Won though a paper-cup phone

On the episode of MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday series 7th Grade Civil Servant that aired on January 31, Han Gil Ro (played by Joo Won) expresses his feeling to Kim Seo Won (played by Choi Kang Hee) through a paper-cup telephone. 

Gil Ro makes Seo Won get his paper phone as her room in the dormitory of the secret service is in the lower floor of his. He opens up: “Earlier, I haven’t finished telling the story. Let me tell you the rest of it. I’ve met hundreds of women through blind date set up by my parents. All of them ran away because I was saucy and overbold. I thought if there is a woman who can stand me and stay with me instead of running away .she’s the one for me. And you were there, sitting across me, so I hated you. A woman of vanity is a woman of my destiny?” He reminisces about how he formed a warped first impression about her at their first meeting..

Seo Won responds: “It doesn’t matter to you if I’m full of vanity of not.”

Gil Ro agrees: “You’re right. I have my ideal type of woman. It must be a girl who doesn’t long for a loaded guy like me although she has huge debt from students loan to pay back. I like that kind of girl.”
