On February 22, G-Dragon’s agency reported, “G-Dragon will go on the first world tour as a solo singer under the title of 2013 G-Dragon World Tour: One of a Kind. The first place to hold the concerts will be Seoul. They’ll be held at the Gymnastics Stadium in the Olympic Park on March 30 and 31. He’s expecting to attract about 24,000 people to the Seoul concerts. Big Bang met about 800,000 fans last year through the world tour, 2012 Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour, and proved their potential in the global market.”
G-Dragon’s agency also said, “The title of the tour is One of a Kind, which describes G-Dragon the best. It’s also the title of the hip-hop song from the EP G-Dragon released last year. He’s trying to show off things that he can do well and others cannot. The title also means G-Dragon’s will to express himself freely.”
Ticket reservations will start on March 5 and 6 at 8:00 p.m. on the official website of G-Market.
G-Dragon will also hold a tour of Japan soon at the four biggest domes (Fukuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome, Saitama Seibu Dome, Osaka Kyocera Dome, and Aichi Nagoya Dome), expecting to attract a total audience of 361,000.
